The Super Eagles may have been strongly hit by shortfall in kits supply, arising from the recent cancelation of the adidas shirt sponsorship deal with Nigeria.
The latest development has prompted concern that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) may head for the open market to buy kits in order to meet demands of the entire national teams arising from the insufficient supply.
Adidas has drastically reduced its stock delivery to Nigeria since the Germany-based equipment maker announced in July that it would not extend its strategic kit supply contract with the Nigerian federation.
The current partnership with Nigeria which has been a source of multi-million naira revenue for the NFF will officially expire on December 31, 2014. Read more
