The times are evolving and new celebrities need to emerge and step into the shoes of the veteran actors in the industry such as Genevieve Nnaji, Jim Iyke, Ramsey Nouah, Funke Akindele, Osita Iheme, etc. it is time to get closer and become aware of the fast rising actors in our movie industry, check them out:

Debby Felix: After playing Ehi in the tragedy drama, Ehi’s bitter Debby Felix has gone on to act in several movies such as Tejiri, Lima and Kiki. Prior to that she attended the popular Royal Arts academy to hone her acting skill. She is one of the most promising actresses in the forthcoming generation.

Timini Egbuson: Timini is no stranger to the screen since he made his debut in Shuga Naija in 2013 where he played the role of ‘Tobi’. He also made appearances in Shuga Naija season 2 and the follow up. He has also appeared in Tinsel and Fifty. Timini is also the younger brother of popular Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, it seems the acting runs in the blood.

Abayomi Alvin: He is best known for his role in the hilarious movie Moms at War, he also played the role of Ebeseinde in the series Shuga season 6.

Abimbola Craig: If you are fan of Skinny girl in transit then you’ll be familiar with the big, bold and beautiful Abimbola Craig who played the role of Tiwalade the web seriesShe is also a producer at Ndani TV communications and Ms. Craig’s thoughts.

Joshua Richard: The dark-skinned youngster Joshua Richard is usually referred to as the “fine boy with perfect dentition” and he is reminiscent of Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh. He has featured in several movies such as The birthmark, Festac Town, Ehi’s bitter and the blockbuster Tough love.

 

Benjamin Touitou: He is considered as the new Ramsey Nouah of the Nigerian movie industry. He first appeared in the movie Lagos Cougar as a lover boy, he has since appeared in several other movies including the series Life 101.

Sharon Ooja: The Kaduna-born actress Sharon Ooja came into the limelight after her performance in the web series Skinny girls in transit. He also appeared in Moms at war.

Zainab Balogun: Zainab was scouted at the age of 16, she has since appeared in over 50 Nollywood movies, including the blockbuster Wedding Party 2.

Juliana Olayode: She made her debut appearance in the popular comedy sitcom Jenifa’s Diary where she co-starred along with Funke Akindele. She has also written a book titled Rebirth: From Grass To Grace. She is best known as ‘Toyobaby’ in the Jenifa’s diary.

Olumide Owuro: Although Olumide made his screen debut at the age of 6 in the family series Everyday People, he recently gained mainstream prominence with his role as ‘Weki’ in the MtV series Shuga and his performance in the movie Soldier’s story in 2015.
