Top 10 Nigerian Musicians that You Absolutely didn’t know Were Born Rich

It is prevalent for several musicians to claim they are from the streets and were not born with a silver spoon. Some would tell you they were raised in the gutter; I need not say much because all fingers are not equal. There are others that had it easy compared to their counterparts and they have decided not to take their wealthy opportunity for granted.

Here is the list of the 10 Nigerian musicians that were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, they didn’t hustle for much because they grew up in an epicurean environment.

  1. DJ Cuppy: Real name Ifeloluwa Florence Otedola, she was born in Lagos but spent majority of her life in United Kingdom. She is the daughter of businessman Femi Otedola the owner of Forte oil and the CEO of Zenon Petroleum and Gas limited. DJ Cuppy graduated from King’s College London with a degree in Business and Economics.

2. Naeto C: Naeto C was born in Houston, Texas. His birth name is Naetochukwu Chikwe and he is the son political elites Dr. Kema Chikwe and Chief Nze Herbert Chikwe. They are one of the most influential politicians in Imo state, Nigeria.

3. Tillaman: Prince Adetona Adeyemi is the son of his Royal highness Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo state. Tillaman is one the wealthy kids in the music industry and he is doing really well.

4. Lynxxx: Lynxxx was the only son of former Bendel state (it was divided into Delta and Edo state in 1991) deputy governor Chief John D. Edozien. Lynxxx’s birth name is Chuka Edozien and he graduated from the University of Hull in United Kingdom where he obtained a degree in Business, Economics and Marketing.

OzzyBosco: This 11-years-old sensation is one of the fast rising singers in the music industry. with the support of his mother especially, Madam Elizabeth Nonye Mojekwe who is a renowned businesswoman globally she has given her son a new level of self-confidence and belief in himself. Oziomachukwu Chukwujama has worked with major music heavyweights such as Olamide, Flavour and even M.I. His parents believe in the youngster’s talent.

6. Dr. Sid: Sidney Onoriode Esiri is the son of the legendary actor Justus Esiri who passed away in 2013. Dr. Sid studied Dental surgery and graduated with honors from the Nigerian Institution University of Ibadan.

7. Waliyah: Fast rising Nigerian singer Waliyah Abiola is the daughter of the late Nigerian statesman M.K.O Abiola.

8. Banky W: Bankole Wellington best known by his stage persona Banky W was born in United states of America and he graduated from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute, New York. He formed the record label Empire States Entertainment in New York.

9. D’banj: One of the most successful entertainers in the Nigerian music industry. D’banj real name Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo is the son Colonel Daniel Duro Oyebanjo, a Nigerian military officer who commanded an artillery regiment.

10. Davido: of course, the list cannot be complete without the Omo baba Olowo himself, David Adeleke. Davido came into prominence in 2011 when he released the jam ‘back when’ featuring his fellow silver spoon breed Naeto C. Davido has changed the face of Nigerian music since his arrival and earned his respect as one the most bestselling artist in this generation.
